Shahrzad Hamzeh

Shahrzad Hamzeh is an Iranian dancer, choreographer, director, actor, writer, musician, poet, photographer, and artist who had to leave Iran to pursue her passion for performance due to illegality of dance in Iran. Hamzeh holds a BA in Urdu Literature and Language from University of Tehran and an MA in Theatre Studies from Illinois State University. She is currently completing a PhD at The University of Texas at Dallas.
